In a vibrant celebration of achievement, diversity, and global collaboration, Midocean University marked a major milestone on Saturday, May 17, 2025, as it celebrated the graduation of its 10th and 11th cohorts for the 2024–2025 academic year at “The Agenda” venue in Dubai Internet City, United Arab Emirates. The event was attended by several prominent academic and international figures, presence of H.E. the Chairman of a delegation from the UNESCO Regional Office for Eastern Africa, highlighting the importance of international collaboration in supporting cross-border digital education and advancing global learning initiatives.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of H.E. the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Smart University Group Holding; H.E. the Chairman of the Board of Midocean University, the President of Midocean University, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed and the Dean of the School of Informatics, Dr. Khaled Eskaf.
The event opened with a performance of “The Nations Operetta,” a vibrant artistic expression celebrating cultural diversity and national pride among students. This was followed by a speech delivered by the University President, who expressed his pride in the graduates and extended heartfelt gratitude to their families for their unwavering support. The University President also reaffirmed the University’s commitment to delivering a flexible, high-quality, and globally recognized digital learning experience.
In addition, Dr. Khaled Eskaf delivered a congratulatory address to the graduates, students, and distinguished guests. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt speech by graduate representative Hadeel Ali Zain Al-Abidin, followed by the official awarding of certificates in an atmosphere filled with celebration and enthusiastic participation from attendees.
The University Administration affirmed that this event represents a significant milestone in Midocean’s ongoing journey to strengthen its smart education model and to graduate students equipped to make meaningful contributions to their communities around the world.
