University Information
All academic programs of the University are offered in collaboration between Midocean University, which is licensed by the Comorian Minister of Higher Education with the license No. N22-1110, and Everyone’s Smart University, licensed by Fujairah Free zone Authority at the United Arab Emirates with the registration No. FZC-2011-21 and online higher education activity license No.4248. Hence, the academic degree is conferred to the graduates with approved certification issued from Midocean University in collaboration with Everyone’s Smart University.
QS Quacquarelli Symonds
Midocean University has achieved an overall exemplary rating of 5 out of 5 stars in the QS Stars Rating System, considered one of the most influential global ratings for universities which covers a detailed look at an institution in specific areas, including Research, Teaching, Employability, Internationalisation, Academic Development, Facilities, Online Learning, Innovation, Arts and Culture, Inclusiveness, Social Responsibility, Environmental Impact, and Specialist Criteria.
ICDE
Midocean University is a member of ICDE global network (International Council Distance Education). The International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) is a global association and founded in 1938 with the aim to offer a worldwide network of online educators, policymakers, and innovators that collaborate with each other on projects and initiatives.
Quality Matters (QM)
Quality Matters (QM) Membership Learner success is a top priority for Midocean University. To remove barriers to success for its online learners, Midocean University has joined Quality Matters (QM) — the international leader for quality assurance in online and innovative digital teaching and learning environments. As a QM member, Midocean University is part of a community of more than 1,600 institutions and organizations in 30+ countries that put learners first.
ASIC
As a complement to these efforts, the University has recently got ASIC accreditation. It is an independent UK quality assurance body specializing in the institutional accreditation of education providers worldwide.
According to Resolution No. 12 of the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, Midocean University was accepted as a participating member in the Association.
AACSB
In addition, the university gained the membership of Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which regarded as the oldest global accreditation entity for the colleges of Business Administration, which provide the programs of Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate in both fields of Business Administration and Accounting.
STARS
Everyone’s Smart University has earned a STARS membership in recognition of its sustainability achievements in higher education from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
Red Hat
Midocean University has signed an academic partnership with Red Hat Academy to enrich the curriculum and help students gain more knowledge and experience in informatics fields.
CompTIA
An academic partnership agreement between Midocean University and CompTIA, aiming at providing modern educational tools and resources that help students to develop their IT skills. CompTIA is one of the leading global organizations that aims at promoting the IT industry around the world.
FIS
The programs approved by the Comoros Ministry of Education and offered by Midocean University can be evaluated through FIS, a Founding Member and current organization member of the American National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES®) that gives graduates the chance to complete their study or to work in the USA and Canada. Graduates of Midocean University can have the equivalence service through the official website of FIS.
