In collaboration with UNESCO, Midocean University organized the 2025 MIL Week

In collaboration with UNESCO, Midocean University organized the MIL Week from October 24 to 31, 2025. This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to promote media and information literacy and empower the academic community to engage responsibly with information sources in the digital environment.

The week featured a variety of seminars and interactive sessions covering multiple topics, including digital media literacy, project management using modern technologies, cybersecurity, intellectual property in the digital environment, and the role of media and information literacy in fostering innovation and sustainable development.

The week concluded with a seminar on entrepreneurship and the development of successful business models, aligning with the university’s vision to integrate media, innovation, and entrepreneurship in higher education.

As part of the MIL Week’s activities, the university launched the “Best Infographic & Reel” competition to encourage digital creativity and promote media and information literacy across digital platforms.

These activities are part of the university’s ongoing efforts to promote the principles of responsible education, strengthen students’ critical thinking and analytical skills, and promote digital creativity and the use of technology in developing communication and knowledge competencies.
